Description

2 ROOMS AVAILABLE, suitable for up to 3 people, from May, BS5.

COUPLE £800pcm & ANOTHER ROOM £550

The Details

You’ll be joining Simon (36/he/him) in a 3 bedroom terraced house on the border of Easton/Eastville - BS5. 2 rooms available! Master bedroom and another large double. Both rooms are part furnished, bay windows and floor space for a yoga mat.

I’m ideally looking for a couple for the master bedroom and another person for the other double bedroom. I would consider one person in each room but rent and bills would be slightly different. If you come as 3 friends this could be the ideal situation for your group.

The home - 1 minute cycle to the Bristol Bath cycle path, then 10 - 15 minutes into Temple Meads/town. 30 seconds walk to the lush Eastville Park. 30 seconds walk to Greenbank cemetery. 10 minutes walk down to Sweet Mart, St Marks Road and all main Easton amenities.

There is a newly done up kitchen/dinner with kitchen table, office chairs suitable for working from home. Both rooms can accommodate a desk if necessary.

Start date for both rooms from May with a month's deposit to secure the room(s).

About me

I’m currently taking a career break and intend to travel for 3-6 months, so after you are settled in I will be away for a few months. I will be keeping my room during this time. I enjoy design, art, technology, cycling, yoga, art & making, festivals, Burning Man & Burner culture, spending time with friends, dining in and partying out and about.

The Home

As pictured there is a new kitchen/diner which opens onto a decked garden. The garden has plenty of space for pots, a compost bay, growing things and veg beds around the edges. An excellent sized bathroom with shower/bath. There is a cosy separate living room with a large corner sofa for chilling. Parking bay out front.

The Ethos

This house has seen a variety of great people and excellent shared time. Typically when cohabiting and making home the ethos has been relaxed, sharing meals, food and chores. As adults the space would be expected to be well managed, tidy and respectful without the need for cleaning rotas, etc. In the past an ethos of abundance mentality, has meant we share and help each other with the understanding the karma flows around in return.

I’m looking for someone to join a home. Not just a house share. Being friends and parts of each other's lives and friendship groups brings more to life. You’ll be introduced to my lovely partner(she/her) and friends, likewise we would hope to meet your friends and connect.

I enjoy a laugh, listening to music, and will host a house party once a year. Hosting friends for dinner, pot lucks, or before nights out (when possible) is important. Likewise most of the time in the week is chilled and not about getting wrecked on a Tuesday evening. Someone who enjoys a healthy balance of fun would be great!

About You

Strong preference for a gender balance in the house. You need to be in employment and able to contribute towards council tax. No smoking inside.

If you are awesome, open minded and kind please send a DM with details of yourself. Then my partner & I would love to meet you over the next couple of weeks! Reminder, I’m primarily looking for 3 people to occupy 2 rooms. However if you just come as a couple we can discuss this and collectively look for a final person.
