Spare room in beautiful scenic area of Frenchay

Hi,

My current lodger is moving out of the property and i am looking for someone to move in April 2024.

You will see that this is quite a catch with great value for such a beautiful setting with great amenities. It's a picturesque cottage located in Frenchay Village, very convenietly located to the motorway and central Bristol. The surrounding area is full of nature with rivers and forests and the property benefits from a very unique shared garden. This place is a dream in the summertime!

I am offering a single room within the property with full use of kitchen, bathroom and living room that would be shared with myself. The house is furnished and i have recently added new furniture to the living room, which you are welcome to use as long as it is treated with respect.

You will note the offered room isn't too presentable from the photos. My current housemate is in the process of moving, so this will be cleaned to a high standard before your move in. A single bed is offered and there is ample storage within the 2 storage spaces within in the room - these are out of shot. The room is also complemented with a window over looking the garden and 2x Velux roof windows.

Ideally, i am looking for a responsible, clean and tidy professional who is looking for somewhere quiet and calm to live. I would say both quiet and calm suit my personality and i would hope you find living with me to be peaceful and comfortable. On this, basis, i would not be willing to accommodate guests on a regular basis, but special occasions etc we could discuss.

There is however a small catch to the above! My landlord lives next door with his wife; a retired older couple - they're lovely! I have requested to sub-let the property, however they are not willing to do this. So.... this would mean that you would be enrolling on a short term 6 month contract with myself via Andrews estate agents. We can discuss in more detail and meet for a viewing or quick drink in the local pub if you had an interest.
