Looking for someone to join us in our house in Novers Park. The house is at the top of Novers Hill which is the on outskirts of knowle and near parson street station/bedminster. The house is has an incredible view right out over to the suspension bridge and many empty fields opposite, making it a very quiet area. The house is very large with 6 berth driveway(generally mostly full but space for your vehicle if you have one), double garage(currently full of junk but being emptied soon), big garden(we try to keep on top of weeding and keeping it tidy but are by no means gardeners), 2 bathrooms, loft space for storage and large rooms. The kitchen was refitted a few years back and one of the bathrooms was done at the start of the year. The room available has a great view, decent size, old brick fireplace feature (not functioning as a fireplace) and is right next to the new bathroom. As well as the bathroom there has been a lot of work done in the house this year, including extensive damp proofing, new carpets and painting throughout the hallways and living room. There may be some work still going on in the garage when the room has become available but shouldn't be too disruptive.

We are 2 guys mid to late 30's who've been in the house for a few years. We get on really well but are both very involved in our jobs/careers/various projects, so the house is not a very social one. Between us our interests are animation, music, reading, cooking, motor sport, crossfit, rowing, video games etc. We will occasionally hang out watch stuff and go to the cinema maybe once a month but generally are very busy doing our own things. The house is very peaceful and quiet most of the time. We have 2 cats, jacob and tilly who are absolutely terrified of everything but very sweet.

We are really looking for someone who is going to be a good fit for the house. We need the prospective person to be mature, with cleanliness and good communication being absolutely essential. We are by no means a militantly clean house, but cleaning up after yourself in shared areas is a must, as well as keeping things generally quiet. Ideally we would like someone similar to us with their own life and interests, who isn't looking for a hugely social place but is still comfortable with friendly kitchen chats and occasional hangouts .Someone around our age for whom the idea of a quiet and peaceful place is appealing.

The room will be available from the 29th June. The rent and bills currently is 535. It tends to go up and down a bit but generally stays in that area. We will be signing a years contract with the landlord but its pretty flexible and if you need to leave before the year is up then a small fee is all thats required. References for employment/previous tenancy will be required and are done by an online third party which is pretty quick and painless. A deposit is also required which I think is a little over a months rent but I will have to check with the landlord to confirm. The room is unfurnished but there is a bed in it if required.
