Large, bright attic room with loads of natural light, in a beautiful, fully renovated 4 bedroom home.

This isn't your typical rental property. It's been lovingly renovated by an architect into a beautiful, characterful, but modern home, and has spacious common areas, modern appliances, and a beautiful sun trap garden full of fruit trees, mosses and other plants. It's also full of lovely house plants, adding to the homely and cosy feel.

The room itself is very private, entering through a private staircase and into its own floor of the house. It comes furnished with a king sized bed and a set of drawers, and a desk can be provided if desired. There is a huge eaves storage for storing larger items.

You'll be joining Harry, Gareth and Sukhpreet. The house is friendly but fairly quiet, and everyone has their own hobbies outside of the house, but enjoys chatting and socialising in the evenings.

We're looking for someone who is kind, laid back, friendly and clean and tidy. A cleaner comes once a month, but we also have a cleaning rota, and everyone is expected to play their role as well as tidying up after themselves. We're ideally looking for a female, but are open to another male as well.

A bit more about the house:

Spacious common areas - There’s a good-sized comfy living room with two big sofas, which adjoins a lovely glass-roofed dining room/work space, complete with a long table that’s great for dinners or for homeworking.

High spec kitchen - Lovely, very well-equipped high-spec kitchen with granite work surfaces and a large five-burner, three-oven range cooker ideal for keen cooks or group cooking. Two large fridges (two people to each fridge) and a freezer, as well as plenty of extra storage space in the adjoining utility room.

Two bathrooms - Two full bathrooms. Super powerful rainfall shower upstairs complete with a luxurious deep fill bath, double sink and toilet, while downstairs has a powerful electric shower, toilet and sink.

Garden - There's a beautiful garden complete with cherry and apple frees, a huge fig tree in the centre, and grape vines that climb over the patio. Matt grows his own veg in the garden, and others are more than welcome to do the same.

Parking - There’s off-street parking for two cars out front and there is also free on-street parking just around the corner (15 second walk), that always has spaces free.

Location - It’s a 15-minute drive into central Bristol, 25-30 minutes on bike along the excellent traffic-free Bristol-Bath cycle path, and 45 minutes in bus (bus stop opposite). There are a number of good pubs close by, a Tesco Express and Spa/Post Office two minutes away, and a Lidl, Sainsburys, Iceland and Argos all within walking distance. There are tennis courts close-by in the beautiful Page Park, and for those who enjoy nature and the outdoors, you’re only a short cycle from rolling Cotswold hills and some fantastic road and off-road cycling, as well as picturesque countryside walks.

Wifi - The house has wifi extenders installed to ensure this reaches all the rooms. This room has standard 60Mb/s internet which is ample for homeworkers, or even for gaming, multiple streams etc

A bit more about the landlords - We're not your 'typical commercial landlords' and have tried to provide a really nice place that people can really make their home in. We're attentive and responsive to any issues that may arise, and just generally keen to provide a top quality and harmonious living space as opposed to eeking out all we can financially from the place. Trained in architecture, we put our blood, sweat and tears into the renovation, and the most important thing for us is to have people who'll both enjoy and take care of it. If any issues arise during the tenancy, beit with the house or personal, we're on hand to help in any way we can.
