Spacious & light double room in Southville Bristol

We are looking for a new housemate to join us in our cosy, spacious home on Hamilton Road in Southville.

This house is a 4 woman share with a caring, respectful and fun feel. We love that we have created a space that feels like a shared home, rather than a house share. We like to chat together in the kitchen whilst cooking, sunbathe in the garden, drive into the countryside for wild swims and have the odd kitchen dance party together. We are saying goodbye to our lovely housemate who has been with us for 2 years as she is moving countries and we are now looking to welcome someone with similar values, hobbies and general vibe as discussed.

The available room is the large double on the ground floor of the house, it is a considerable size with gorgeous light throughout the day. The room will be unfurnished but with possibility to purchase a few items/furniture if needed. The shared living spaces are fully equipped. It has walnut laminate flooring and clean white walls and is overall in really good nic. The rent is £570 excluding bills and the deposit is £570. We have a washing machine, dish washer and all the other kitchen utensils/appliances you will need. We also have a lovely garden which is such a sun trap in the summer. We have a good relationship with our landlord. We like to keep the house clean and tidy and share house jobs between us.

The house is in a great location: a quiet road just around the corner from North Street which has loads of cafes, bars and independent shops. Asda and Aldi are 5/10 mins walking distance. It is about a 20-25 min walk into the centre, close to the harbour, and there is lots of green space nearby.

The house also has a spare room, which is currently being used for guests and occasional office work. There is scope to negotiate a WFH arrangement for use of this room at an extra cost but will need to be discussed and reviewed in person.

We are looking for someone who would like to be a part of this lovely dynamic we have going. Camilla is a masseuse, and Belle is a drama teacher and we are about to welcome another new housemate Lindsey (as one of us has recently bought a flat around the corner). We love being creative, eating pastries and exploring Bristol. We are looking for a young professional (28 or over).

We see introducing another newbie as the perfect opportunity to nurture the loving and friendly feel we have here at Hamilton Road. We want someone who would rather feel part of a friendly community sharing a home than who is just looking for a room, and who plans to stick around for a little while.
