An independent and outgoing older lady is seeking a Sharer for her home to give her a mix of 10 hours help and company each week in exchange for low-cost accommodation within her house.

This independent older lady would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help with things such as grocery shopping and / or driving to the supermarket, carrying shopping and putting away. Odd jobs on request especially lifting or moving something heavy. She likes to cook for herself but the occasional sharing of a meal would also be nice. Help with phone / ipad / laptop.
Finally, she would also appreciate bring driven on occasion to events, friends or clubs (during the daytime, if available).

She enjoys gardening, arts & crafts, singing, reading, board games and socialising with friends.

The accommodation on offer is a self contained first floor apartment within her 1950’s bungalow comprising it’s own kitchen, shower room wc, and a furnished double bedroom with wardrobe, bedside table, seating area, television and shared use of the garden.

The property is located in a residential area in south west Kilmarnock within a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and a 13 minute journey to Kilmarnock train station, and less than a 5 minute drive to the A71 for access to Irvine, Prestwick or Ayr.

As a Sharer you must be able to offer enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, without pets, who ideally shares some of the householders interests. Either male or female, in good health, fairly outgoing, ideally 40’s/50’s and enjoys conversation.
