(Please note this property is 40 km/22 miles from the centre of Glasgow. I regret it is not suitable for non-car owners attending any of the various universities in the city.)
Large, comfortable room in semi-detached house in quiet road in semi-rural Kilmaurs. (A second, smaller, room is available now for £350 pcm; please contact me for details. The general information here remains the same except there is only room for one car on the driveway.) Very handy for Crosshouse Hospital. Parking space on driveway. Fully furnished room including chest of drawers, cupboard space, bookshelves, computer desk and chair, WC/Bathroom with bathtub and electric shower opposite this room. (If the second room is occupied, the bathroom is shared.) Second WC downstairs. Fridge, freezer, air fryer and microwave available on landing upstairs.
Use of washing machine in kitchen by arrangement. There is a tumble dryer. There is a nice seating area in the garden. I occupy the ground floor of my property only. A cleaning lady comes once a week (included in price) who will, if you wish, change your bed linen and dust and vacuum your room, and will clean the bathroom.
Wireless broadband. Bills included.
Non-smokers only, please, or MUST smoke outside for insurance reasons.

Kilmaurs is a quiet village, very handy for the M77 to Glasgow and is just two miles from Kilmarnock and Crosshouse. Train station 10 minutes' walk. Bus to Crosshouse Hospital stops almost outside the house. There are two very nice pubs in the village, good for eating out; Morrisons Daily and a Premier Store, other major supermarkets and petrol stations all within three miles.

I am a quiet person but friendly and helpful. I work from home so am generally available to help with any queries, and I always respect the privacy of lodgers.
