Home share/short term let accommodation. The attached double bed suite accommodation has own back door entry (down the left hand side of the house and entered via the back garden) to give guest privacy. The open plan suite accommodation has a large double bed, with ensuite, and a fill size corner sofa. There is a seperate kitchenette/utility area (utility washing machine shared with host)
On entering you have your own kitchenette/utility room area (washing machine shared) which then leads, by the way of a door, to a very spacious open plan double bedroom suite with an ensuite wet room (newly fitted)
The suite accommodation is fully furnished. There is a full size comfy corner sofa, desk, chest of drawers, side tables, and a double bed. The accomodation further benefits from a Smart 40 inch TV with access to Roku/Netflix/Prime Movies and Wifi. (fibre broadband). There is a designated private garden area and off street private parking.
The ensuite wet room has a rain fall shower, toilet and sink with storage. The utility/kitchenette area has a sink, storage cupboards, fridge, kettle, microwave, washing machine, crockery etc.
"There is private off street driveway parking available and MUST be used at all times. No parking whatsoever outwith hosts driveway".
Accommodation is ideal for Hunterston Power Station contractors as only a 10 minute drive away. Contractor stays Mon to Fri £180 per week or contractors requiring 7 days £200 per week. Accommodation is only available for single person use. Security deposit can be discussed for short term work lets. References will be required.
The accomadation is 5 mins from the beach and 10/15 min walk along the main promenade to Largs town centre, with a choice of restaurants, shops, and pubs. There are two local sports centres with a gym. There is a local swimming pool with sauna, steam room facilities. Largs further benefits from two golf courses, several parks and several walking/cycle routes.
There is a local bus stop (2 min walk) covering Glasgow, Paisley, Greenock and several other local areas. Largs train station with direct route to Glasgow and Paisley and is a 15 min walk. Local ferry to the island of Millport is close by, as is other local ferry routes.
Please note there is external recording Ring video cameras at external door entry points, which gives added security for guests, the host and neighbours.
Referances will be required plus valid government photo ID (driving licence/passport) will be required for verification. Im Data Protection aware and ICO registered.
Please fully read guest folder in guest bedroom on arrival which contains fire safety information, evacuation plan and further guest safety information plus house rules. There is also recycling information.
Please be respectful of neighbours at all times, no excessive noise. No charging of electric vehicles allowed due to fire safety. Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles or naked flames allowed. No portable heaters (the house has full gas central heating) or portable appliances due to fire risks. No BBQ
Weekly inspections need to be carried out at a mutually agreed time (24hrs advance notice) and are intended to ensure guests’ safety by checking fire alarms, CO alarm and visual inspection of PAT tested electrical equipment etc. This also enables me to address any safety/ maintenance concerns promptly. This is also part of the nèw Scottish Government's short-term let licence guidance for host operators.
