Bedford single room £249 Homeshare

Do you have experience with Dementia? Can you provide support and companionship to an older lady in these isolating times?

This bungalow is the beautiful location of Ampthill in Bedford. It comes as part of a Two Generations Homeshare, in which you will commit to approx. 10 hours per week of help in the home.

The current homeowner is a very friendly lady in her 80's living with Dementia. She enjoys painting, listening to music, playing bridge and has previously walked the Himalayas!

She is looking for companionship and the reassurance of an overnight presence in her home. She would like someone who can prepare and share an evening meal 4 or 5 times per week, help with some household chores and join her on some walks.

The ideal sharer will be a FEMALE who has had BOTH COVID VACCINATIONS and have some experience living with or working with someone with Dementia. They should enjoy chatting, cooking and enjoy a giggle! They can be working full or part time, with some time available during their evenings to offer some household support.

The sharer has a single room with desk and use of a shared bathroom. The sharer is welcome to use of the rest of the home including kitchen, lounge/dining room, plus a studio room in the garden.

We have various policies in place to allow shares to take place during the Covid Pandemic and safety of both parties is our first priority.

The suitable sharer MUST be double vaccinated.
