Double en-suite room, 1 mile from train station

We’re Amy and Josh and we moved to Flitwick in October 2020 and are happy to offer our lovely spare double room with en-suite to someone who could make good use of our location.

Based in the new build estate just behind the leisure centre (literally no more than a 3min walk away!), we can be on the train into Bedford/Central London within 20mins (walking) or on the M1 in 15mins (driving), so we’re very well placed for a range of commuting.

The room itself comes equipped with a double bed (that lifts up with storage beneath, and an electric blanket for your comfort), corner wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers, full length mirror, corner desk and en suite with shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.

As well as having your own private en suite, we are happy to share access to our lounge and kitchen/diner.

We’ve also installed a second broadband line to ensure that it can accommodate an additional person streaming/playing as we tend to use a lot of bandwidth.

We have two cats (brothers, Thor & Loki), who will happily be your best friend or leave you well alone. We like to spend our spare time enjoying good food, films, playing board games (we go a little bit more extreme than Monopoly and are always happy to induct newbies!) and computer games. Our last lodger stayed with us for 2.5yrs so we can’t be too bad to live with!

The price includes all bills, including broadband, council tax and estate management fees. There is plenty of on-road parking nearby.

We do have a food allergy sufferer in the house so are seeking someone who will be thoughtful and careful in the kitchen, in which case this should never be a problem.
