Although the minimum stay is one month, the lodger would need to stay one additional month's notice period. I am the live in landlord and female. Three bedroom Victorian end of terrace property with original features. Property has been vastly improved with new gas central heating, electrical re-wiring and tastefully decorated. There is parking on the road outside my house. There is a separate utility room with washing machine. Another out house has recently been re-roofed for additional storage. There is a new microwave in the kitchen as well as combi oven and fridge freezer. There is ample space for food storage in the original pantry. Also, broadband is available. Modern bathroom with shower facilities. Spare bedroom is nicely decorated and fully furnished with ample storage. The property benefits from a very large pretty rear garden. The property is close to many amenities including supermarkets, local shops, a church, pubs, restaurants, two major gyms and wildlife parks. Bedford town centre and embankment are a short drive away. I am looking to share with a professional female who is out at work during the week and ideally away at weekends. She needs to be clean and tidy but have a relaxed attitude to life. I would respect her privacy within my home when she wants to spend time in her room. I would be happy for her friends to visit while I'm there, with prior notice but they would need to leave at a reasonable time in the evening and never stay over. I would maintain no access to my bedroom at any time. The main house cleaning is done by me each week but daily cleaning of kitchen, bathroom and own room would need to be done by the lodger and me after areas have been used to keep the house tidy and hygienic for both to share. Washing and ironing would be left for us to do our own. I have small Lhasa apso young dogs who are loving, sociable and fun. The prospective lodger would need to be a dog lover, as a priority. All Lhasas takes to new people very well. Of course my dogs would not be allowed in the lodger's room unless she was happy for them in there. They are generally quiet and never shed fur. I would need to be sure that my dogs are safe and happy at all times with the lodger in my home and garden.
My home is a happy, comfortable, warm place with an individual style of decoration. I would enjoy welcoming a friendly house mate to my home.
