Double Room in Well Positioned Location

I am offering a double room for rent in Kempston. The room is available for single occupancy.

The room has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bathroom is downstairs with walk in shower and free standing bath. Well equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a small fridge and freezer for your own personal use. I have a small courtyard style garden with a clothes line and large lounge/dining area. Unlimited broadband, Amazon Prime and NOWTV.

The living room, kitchen and bathroom are all shared however I am out early and fairly flexible hopefully negating any queues for the bathroom. I have a small office which will be available for use outside my working hours or you are welcome to spend time in the lounge also.

There is on street parking (no permit required) and easy access to the A421/M1/A6. Bedford Hospital and the town centre are both within a comfortable walking distance. There are direct buses at the end of the road in to Bedford Town Centre and Cranfield University. London is an hour on the train with the station being a half hour walk.

I have three friendly indoor/outdoor cats and a small dog that live with me but generally where I am the dog is. The cats have the run of the house but at night live in the kitchen. I am an animal person and my animals are a big part of my life - if you aren’t a fan of household pets this won’t be the house for you.

I mostly work from home with the odd overnight stay away. The nature of my job is quite sensitive and I am happy to discuss this with any serious applicants.

When I’m away the dog goes to my parents and the cats have automatic feeders so there is no requirement for you to undertake any animal care. They are well adapted to this as it has been the situation for over a year.

I am happy to provide bedding and towels if required or you are welcome to bring your own.

I’m happy to accommodate shift workers - I am very sympathetic!

Unfortunately due to the animals I have being quite settled I am unable to have any more added to the mix.

The room is available from the 27th April. Viewings not possible before the 21st April due to other commitments.
