A bright, sunrise-facing en-suite double room is available in my recently refurbished, owner-occupied 3-bedroom home.

This is a calm, clean, design-led private home rather than a typical house share. It would suit a respectful, tidy, independent person looking for a peaceful place to live.

As I work from home, I’m hoping to find someone independent who has their own routine outside the house too, whether through work, study, gym, hobbies or social plans. You don’t need to be out all day, but it would suit someone who enjoys a calm home base while also being out and about at times.

The house is vegetarian, and I am looking for someone who is happy to respect this. Meat and fish cannot be cooked in the house. Vegetarian and vegan cooking is very welcome.

The Room
A spacious double bedroom facing the rear garden, with excellent natural light and a private en-suite bathroom.

The House
The property is a recently refurbished 3-bedroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac neighbourhood.
One double bedroom is used as my home office and gym, so the house feels spacious and uncluttered. The house was fully refurbished in 2025, including:
• Full certified electrical rewire
• New kitchen
• New bathrooms, including the added en-suite
• New wood flooring
• Fresh plastering and modern finishes throughout

There is a calm open-plan living and dining area overlooking the garden.

The ideal housemate would be:

• Vegetarian, vegan, or genuinely comfortable living in a vegetarian home
• Happy not to cook meat or fish in the house
• Independent, with their own routine outside the house as well
• Quiet, considerate and easy to communicate with
• Looking for a calm home rather than a party house

This would not suit someone who wants to be at home all day every day, cook meat or fish in the house, smoke, or have frequent overnight guests.

Optional Extras
• Monthly en-suite cleaning: £50
• Fresh organic vegetarian/vegan meals: £12 per meal
• Extra furniture available by arrangement

Rent & Terms

• £750 pcm
• All bills included, including utilities, high-speed internet, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video
• £750 deposit
• One month’s rent payable in advance
• Lodger agreement, as this is a live-in owner home
• Short lets considered
• Minimum stay: 2 weeks
• Ideal stay: 1–3 months initially
• Agreement can renew every 2–3 months by mutual agreement
• One month’s notice required, unless the stay is under 4 weeks

Single occupancy only. However couples or multiple people considered for short stay.

About the Area
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in LU2, Luton. The home is peaceful, well-maintained and ideal for someone looking for a comfortable, clean and thoughtfully designed place to stay. The house is 7min drive from Luton airport and 30min by bus. Also 15min walk from the main train station in Luton.
