We have changed from short term to longer stays in the last 3 years. Our current guest has been with us 20 months and is happy to provide references.
We are a very friendly supportive late middle aged couple who run the smallholding part time as and work to pay the bills as a builder and IT manager.
As it is a high quality well looked after place, and is sharing the grounds of the farmhouse, we would like to find someone who is 'like minded' - friendly, quite, clean and tidy, respectful.
Would suit someone who wants quality, quiet, private, 'all inclusive' accommodation.
It it important to note that this is not a tenancy, although it is very private and separate, it is a house share/license/serviced accommodation. We have 'amicable sharing and care of the accommodation' policies.
Compared with a tenancy this saves you c£300 per month costs (no additional cost for council tax, water, gas, electric, broadband, TV license, insurance) and costs of laundry and cleaning. And is fully furnished including bedding, and towels crockery etc.
Could suit busy professionals that want high quality 'all inclusive' accommodation with more space and 'home' facilities than a hotel and lower cost and longer term than a holiday let.
Or people who want to move to live independently but want to saving on a lease
Or in between permanent homes
Or relocating
Or on a work secondment or working away from home
Or moving out to renovate the house
Students
People who cannot at the moment meet tenancy paperwork requirements (e. g. due to job moves)
Not suitable for families (although if you are a parent wanting occasional overnight stay for your children, tell us what you are looking for and we will see if we can help)
