Looking for a friendly, tidy, and responsible housemate to share a clean, comfortable home in a peaceful location and the end of a quiet cul-de-sac opposite protected woodland, just outside Reading.

Enjoy exclusive use of the entire ground floor of a three-storey home, complete with:
- A large, fully furnished double room with a fold-down bed (new mattress, very comfy!), desk, generous storage, sitting area (with TV), and mini kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle).
- Private bathroom with electric shower.
- Private parking and access to an electric car charger (by arrangement, billed separately).
- Shared access to a modern kitchen (with lots of gadgets!), cozy living area, and garden. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine for your convenience.
- Garden (not pictured) with outdoor dining space.

👨👩👧👦 About Us
We’re a friendly family of three – two children under 10. We also have a guinea pig and regularly dog-sit and foster guide dogs, so you’ll occasionally see a wagging tail or two around the house!
I work in a professional role, with a mix of office and home-based work (around 50%), so we value a calm and respectful environment during working hours. We’re looking for someone who is happy to share space with a busy but warm household - though someone who also wants/needs their own private space too!

Situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood on the edge of Burghfield Common, great access to Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke, and for those working at AWE or other local employers.
The area offers:
- Local amenities within walking distance: sports centre, library, café, petrol station, Coop/Tesco Express, takeaways, and pubs.
- Fantastic local village community (lovely neighbours) with lots of woodland walks and bike rides, swimming pool in the village too plus lots of exercise/social groups
- Easy and safe cycling route into Reading.
- Direct bus links to central Reading within 5min walk
- 15–20 mins drive to Reading
- Theale train station 12 minutes away, with direct trains to Paddington.
