Very nice room for single occupancy in lovely 5 bed Victorian (but clean and modern!) house. It's a medium-sized room with double bed, single wardrobe, tallboy chest of drawers and a desk. Plus lots of underbed storage. TV point in room

Ideal for a Mon-Fri or part-week let - there may be some tweakability on price, depending on how many days you need :-)

You'll share a gorgeous modern bathroom which is 2 steps from your room with another extremely clean and tidy 2 nights a week lodger, it's pretty much pristine at all times

Shared (but often free just for you) lounge is also a few steps from the room, where you can chill, watch TV, eat, study, read - whatever grabs you !

Sky broadband and all bills included, off-road parking available if needed and parking on the road outside the house is fine too

Ideal occupant would be a daytime worker (rather than a shift worker)

The house isn't suitable for working from home I'm afraid.

There will occasionally be a foster cat in one of the downstairs rooms as I help out occasionally for Battersea , this won't really impact the rest of the house but animal lovers are especially welcome

Lovely quiet area with local country walks and River Thames nearby for gorgeous walks and views!

We also have a 6am-10pm upmarket Country Store supermarket, a Costa and 12 fabulous gastro-pubs in the village - it's village life with all the luxuries of a nice town :-)

Very easy to drive from here to Maidenhead, Bray, Marlow, High Wycombe, Windsor, Slough, Heathrow and surrounding areas - we're just 10 mins drive from both the M4 and the M40

6 min walk from house to Cookham train station means it's an easy commute to Reading, Maidenhead, Slough, Heathrow and 20-35 mins to London Paddington via Elizabeth line or fast trains at peak times.
