The house is a pretty four-bedroomed, pet-free Victorian house on a quiet road five minutes walk from the railway station. There is also a large well-equipped kitchen.

I am looking for an independent, quiet and easy-to-live-with person who needs a warm, clean and comfortable room.

The village has plenty to offer by way of activities. We are close to the river, there are plenty of wonderful walks, a park and library nearby as well as an array of local shops, cafes, pubs, cinemas and restaurants. Easy access to the M4 and the M40 by car and Maidenhead and Marlow are easy to get to by car and train. There is a good train service from Cookham to London, Twyford, Reading, Henley and Oxford.
