The currently available room, is a double room on the 1st floor with exclusive use of a bath/shower room across the hall.
This room has a new dbl bed frame with easy access storage under the bed in addition to the usual wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelves etal. The associated bath/shower room has recently been redecorated and includes lots of storage.
There is a separate large family room/tenants lounge on the ground floor which can be used as a sitting room and includes a digital 42" Samsung TV. This room is very occasionally used by family when they visit.
The house has a large farmhouse style kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with china, pots & pans 1200cm double oven and 6 burner hob, microwave, dishwasher etc.
We also have a separate utility room with washing machine & dryer. There is a separate tall fridge and large Larder Cupboard for lodgers.
I am a friendly landlady and have had a number of lodgers over the past years - hence very used to sharing my space.
We have a large landscaped garden with large patio, stream and relatively secluded space.
IF you smoke, we allow smoking in the garden although there isn't anywhere undercover in the winter.
We have a large drive for off road parking.
There is enough space and the rooms are big enough for everyone to keep themselves to themselves if the wish, while enough common space to spend time together should you want to. Generally we are a reasonably quiet and friendly household.
In usual circumstances we are NOT looking for individuals that work from home but obviously in the current climate everyone is working from home! We definitely do not rent to anyone that is not currently employed.
Crowthorne is blessed with lots of green spaces and a walk of 5/10 mins in any direction will take you into woodlands.
Our location gives easy access to Crowthorne Station or for a fast route to London there are a number of nearby stations. M4 or M3 are about 10 mins drive, depending on traffic. Guildford, Wokingham and Reading are easily reached via train direct from Crowthorne.
