A large relatively quiet family home which is currently offering 1 dbl room to let. We have a separate lounge area for lodgers, and include broadband, off street parking and a large landscaped garden.

Our location gives easy access to Crowthorne Station or for a fast route to London there are a number of nearby stations. M4 or M3 are about 10 mins drive, depending on traffic. Guildford, Wokingham and Reading are easily reached via train direct from Crowthorne. Our home is a short walk from Crowthorne station.

The room is available from September 1st and is a double room on the 1st floor with exclusive use of a bath/shower room across the hall. Viewings will be available by arrangement.

This room has a dbl bed with easy access storage under the bed in addition to the usual wardrobe, chest of drawers, small desk, shelves etal. The associated bath/shower room includes lots of storage.

There is a separate large family room/lodgers lounge on the ground floor which can be used as a sitting room and includes a TV. This room is very occasionally used by family when they visit.

The house has a large farmhouse style kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with china, pots & pans, 1200cm double oven and 6 burner hob, air fryer, microwave, dishwasher etc.

Off the kitchen is a separate utility room with washing machine & dryer. In addition lodgers have a separate tall fridge and large Larder Cupboard.

I am a friendly widowed landlady and have had a number of lodgers over the past years - hence very used to sharing my home. My professional son occupies one of the rooms and I have a couple of other lodgers.

We have a large landscaped garden with large patio, stream and relatively secluded non-estate location.

We have a large drive for off road parking of one vehicle (no large vans or similar).

There is enough space and the rooms are big enough for everyone to keep themselves to themselves if they wish, while enough common space to spend time together should you want to. Generally we are a reasonably quiet and friendly household.

We prefer individuals who do not work from home or on shifts and must be currently employed. Current household work for NHS, AA and Tesco.

Crowthorne is blessed with lots of green spaces and a walk of 5/10 mins in any direction will take you into woodlands. Crowthorne also has a number of shops nearby including several restaurants, coffee bars and a sourdough bakery besides the usual Lidl and Co-op. There is also a private members sports club almost across the road in Wellington College.
