Spacious, recently refurbished double room in three bedroom house with garden and patio. Cosy, quiet and leafy area - house borders with McIllroy Park. Only two housemates.

About room and house:

Double room was entirely refurbished in January this year - new engineered-wooden floor, new ceiling, all plaster replaced. Room contains wooden king size bed, spacious sliding-door, mirror wardrobe, desk and corner book case. Plenty of space in a big wardrobe, plus drawers under bed. All bills and amenities included in the price.

The house is equipped with fairly new boiler with remotely controlled digital thermostat, virgin broadband, gsm alarm, smart TV in living room, recently replaced front French door and patio door, big and nice terraced garden and decent size patio.

The room is in quiet neighbourhood with nice view on Thames Valley. The whole property borders with McIIlroy park with stunning panorama on Reading and Themes Valley. There is also a little forest close to park and river Thames with endless footpaths (15 min walk from home).

About housemates - Piotr and Adam

Hi nice to meet you my name is Piotr and I am living in landlord in my three-bedroom house. I am 40 years old professional, working as scientist (molecular biology/virology) at university.
I am among those lucky guys who love their job but also got different hobbies and interests such as history, learning to make perfumes, DIY, trekking and angling. Very recently discovered gardening 😊 (enjoying my strawberries and raspberries - have plenty in the garden). People said I am a good chatting companion.
I share the house with Adam (35) who is a plant machine operator. He likes football and traveling.
We both are friendly and well behaved gentleman valuing peaceful, quiet and comfortable life. We`re easy going but straight to the point people believing in respectful communication and finding amicable solution.

Who we are looking for?

We would prefer full time working professional who does not work from home and have similar mindset. If that sounds ok for you, please send me a message describing yourself a bit.

Garden:
Patio facing three level cosy garden ideal for morning coffee before work;
Lots of space for barbecue, friends visit or resting/sunbathing (BBQ and sunbed provided).

Heating remotely controlled by central and individual digital thermostats.

I totally recommend Piotr. I rented a room from him for nearly a year. There were only me and him in his three-bedroom house. Piotr is an honest and good landlord that treats his tenants fairly. I felt like I lived with a friend rather than landlord. Once again, I can only say positive things about his place and if my personal circumstances were different, I would definitely stay. Surly this was the best room/house I ever lived and can only give him 10 out of 10 points for place, area and living conditions.
