This would suit a professional looking for a calm, respectful home environment, ideally someone working hybrid with at least 3 days a week in the office. Mature, Masters and PhD students also welcome. You will be sharing with myself and my current housemate.
The room includes:
• Double bed
• Bedside unit
• Chest of drawers (new set coming, as shown in the picture)
• Desk (my current setup will be removed before move-in)
• Wardrobe
• Option to add extra storage, such as shelves
Included in the rent:
• All bills
• 1Gb fibre broadband
• Washing machine
• Standard airer and heated airer
• Tumble dryer
Local area:
• Shops, takeaways, pharmacy and GP all within a 5–10 minute walk
• Around 10 minutes by bus to Reading town centre and train station (traffic dependent)
• Easy access via the 17 and 4/4a bus routes
• The 17 runs 24/7 and is very frequent during the day
• Nearest bus stop: St Peter’s Road
• Convenient links to Heathrow via RailAir and the Elizabeth Line
Shared spaces:

• Kitchen/diner
• Downstairs toilet
The home would best suit someone who is clean, considerate and easy to live with, and who values a place that feels fresh, quiet and comfortable.
