Bright Single Room, Easy Access Into Town

1 Good Size Bright Double Room (taken), and one single room (available) Please note I am not allowed to specify females only but females are strongly preferred.

Double: Good-sized, with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, blackout curtains, coffee table and chair, plus a folding desk for work or study.

Single: Comfortable bed, wardrobe, blackout blind, and a small folding desk for work or study (see picture). This room is quite small so it’s important you don’t have loads of stuff to bring, but if you’re living out of a bag somewhere, or don’t have much stuff, it could suit you well. Please note due to it's location this room is not for rental to anyone working very late early or nights who will be coming and going outside normal hours.

Neither rooms are adjacent to any other bedrooms in the house and so have a good level of privacy once you are inside. Both rooms are freshly painted last year.

The House: This is a welcoming home with two rooms which are rented out, shared with live in land lady, a mature marketing intern, and a small dog. It’s a two-storey Victorian terraced townhouse with calm, bright décor, and Wi-Fi. There is a large dining room elsewhere in the house which you can use some of the time.

The Area: West Reading is a vibrant, well-connected neighbourhood. Oxford Road (just 2 minutes’ walk) has everything you might need, including a small supermarket, a wide choice of restaurants and takeaways, and some lovely independent coffee shops. Kensington Park is nearby and great for a 1km run round the circuit, or a relaxed stroll in the fresh air.

You: Female preferred, you must like dogs as I have one, they are not allowed in your room if you prefer.

Transport: We’re a 5-minute walk from West Reading Station, and buses into central Reading take around 5 minutes. You can also enjoy a straight, 20–25 minute walk into town. Trains from Reading run frequently to Oxford, Windsor, and London Paddington—London is a 23-minute journey from Reading Station. Reading University and the Madejski Stadium are a 12-minute drive away.
