Caversham Flat Double Room / private bathroom

Flat mate wanted (male or female professional) in Caversham.

Double room in a modern two bed Caversham apartment (across the road from the River Thames) near Caversham bridge. Easy walking distance to town (10mins) or the railway station (5mins). 2 minutes walk to Caversham village, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.

The double bedroom comes with a private bathroom, but the other facilities are shared (i. e. Kitchen, living room etc).

The flat (and room) is fully furnished with a double bed, chest of draws, wardrobe and a desk (suitable for WFH). I’m happy to remove anything, as required.

The flat is lovely and newly decorated, with real wood floors. It has a balcony off the living room and there are private gardens / grounds, that can be used by residents for social purposes – BBQs in the summer etc.

The room is available immediately.

My work is taking me away for at least 1 year (I am a young environmental engineer), and I looking for someone to rent my vacated room.

I have another flat mate a young professional lady. It’s obviously key the new flatmate gets on with her and you’d meet her at the viewing. She’s really nice and very friendly. She enjoys cooking, films, socialising and exercise (walking and gym etc).

I guess we’re looking for someone similar age (say between 24-30) and somebody with similar interests (music, socialising, cooking, sport, cinemas etc).

Male or female professional. No pets, and no smokers please.

Rent is £825 pcm (which includes all bills - council tax, electricity, water, broadband etc).

Gated parking is available, but this would need to be discussed separately.
