Clean and newly refurbished double with bathroom

We have a double room with bathroom which was recently decorated in March 2014. We are looking to rent out to a Monday to Friday lodger, i. e. someone who is working in Reading on weekdays and going home on weekends.

We live in a Victorian terrace four bed house with 3 double and one single. The house was recently renovated and completed in March 2014. There are 3 bathrooms in total so no sharing!

We occupy the top floor and attic, there is shared accommodation (living room) on the ground floor and the bedroom is in the basement with adjoining shower room and shared kitchen/diner and garden.

We are a 5 minute walk to:

Reading town centre
Reading station
Major bus routes
Supermarkets, shops and takeaways
Central Swimming Pool (less than 5 minutes)

There are no parking permits available, sorry. There is a secure place for bicycles.

We are a clean household as it is our home. We can offer loans of freshly laundered bedding and towels. The room has a bookcase, wardrobe, chest of drawers and double bed all in good condition and of course belongings can be left securely week to week. The room can be accessed by an internal door and also has its own front door.

separate grill/conventional oven and fan oven

kettle
Sofa area

We are a quiet household, and you are welcome to share the sitting room with TV, sit and eat in the dining room and or enjoy the sunshine in the garden. However socialising is likely to be limited and would not suit someone looking to develop strong housemate relationships. Alternatively there is a TV point in the room.
