For those who want a balance of suburban calm & town centre convenience Tilehurst is the place for you. There are decent pubs & cafés for socialising - the local pub The Royal Oak has quiz nights and The Switch in the Triangle does a superb brunch!

Tilehurst station gives quick access into Reading and there onwards to London. It is close to major roads like the A329, A4 and M4 so driving in and out of the area is easy to do. There are several nice parks around such as Arthur Newbery Park which slopes down to the Thames Valley and is a well-used outdoor space.
