Double bedroom with plenty of storage in a quiet house.
The bedroom is located first floor of the property. On the same level there is another double room occupied by couple that the bathroom will be shared with. Please see the pictures for the layout and dimensions of the bedroom.
This is a quiet house with full-time working professionals and we are looking for similar lodgers.

The good side of living in there:
The house is very well located close to nearby shops/supermarkets and take-aways. It is close to town centre and train station (if you need to travel).
Everything inside is high speck with good quality appliances, the property is internally insulated, solid oak wooden flooring, boiler fitted in March 2022, plenty of storage space in the kitchen and in your room. There is the possibility of keeping some luggage in the loft area which is boarded and clean.
The current household:
Eastern Europen couple
Upstairs, where the present room is located are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom.
From those 3 bedrooms, only 2 bedrooms will ever be rented.
Shared by the 2 rooms upstairs will be the bathroom and the 180cm second fridge/freezer. The taller fridge seen in the pictures.
Kitchen: roughly 32 base and wall cabinets to be shared.
The house is covered by CCTV on the outside for the safety of your belongings.
The room will be rented with a brand new mattress, that is why currently there is no mattress on the bed.
Other aspects worth mentioning:
The property has no driveway, but we never had an issue with parking on the street where is free of charge and with no restrictions.
It might not always be in front of the doorstep but you will definitely find a spot to leave yours.
There is no lounge. There is a large kitchen and a dinning area fitted with table and chairs with enough space for 4 of you to have dinner in the same time, but no lounge with sofa, TV etc.
There is a washing machine, but not a dryer or a dishwasher. Due to the current situation everyone is reducing their energy bill. There is a huge drying line outside in the garden for drying laundry.
The current household they are Eastern European, professionals, all working during the day full time jobs.
They are all smokers and have a designated smoking area outside. No one ever smokes inside.
The house rules are established by the current lodgers and from what I know they do their own cleaning. The house is immaculate clean.
The only rule that we all agree is that we do not bring overnight guests. It is ok to invite friends during the day , have coffee/tea or a picnic in the garden but no sleepovers.
