We have a comfortable double room available for single occupancy - furnished and recently decorated in semi- detached 3/4 bedroom house . In quiet Cul de sac. Reading
We live in Spencers Wood which is very close to the M4 and just on outskirts of Reading. Clean and tidy house with a jack russel (very friendly) in quiet cul de sac (Plenty of on street parking).
I am a smoker but smoke outside. Usual amenities including freeview tv, wifi and nice garden to enjoy the sunshine (if it every comes!!)
We are fairly easy going. We have recently had a couple of short term lets but before that our previous lodger stayed for many years and only moved out due to other commitments. There is also another lodger here at present who has also been here for a number of years, and is mon-fri also.
The kitchen and bathroom are shared and there is a dinning room which the curent and previous lodgers have used to sit and eat in and discuss the days events.

Despite the quietness of the village, there are good local amenities, i. e. Post office, Bakery, Chemist and local shops pubs etc within walking distance and there is a good bus service to Reading and the surounding area frequenting many places in between.
The house is in a very convenient location for travel being only a couple of minutes from the M4, Junction 11, and A33 into Reading or Basingstoke and beyond.
