Looking for housemates for house in Wises Firs

Hello!

We are looking to fill two double rooms in our spacious house in Wise’s Firs, Ufton Nervet, Reading.

We (Jack and Amy) are a couple in our early thirties. We’ve previously lived here with friends who have recently moved out so are looking for some more friendly faces to share the space with.

Both rooms available are double rooms with lots of storage. One is en suite with a toilet and shower and would suit a couple or an individual. Our bedroom is situated on the ground floor, off the living area.

The house has a spacious kitchen and open plan dining space downstairs, a living room and big TV, and a large garden out the back. We have a dish washer in the kitchen, with a washing machine & tumble drier in the utility room. There are two communal toilet facilities; one with a shower downstairs, and one upstairs with a bath.

Wise’s Firs is ideally situated in a quiet area for walking, running, and cycling. We’re five minutes from the shops and facilities in Burghfield and Mortimer, and less than a fifteen minute drive from Lidl & Aldi, Sainsburys, and Pure Gym at Calcot. Theale station is a short drive away with regular fast trains into London Paddington. Reading town centre is less than a twenty minute drive away.

Double room (front): £600
Double Room (ensuite): £700 (£750 if a couple)
Bills: +£150 per person (inc council tax [band E], broadband, water, electric, oil)
Deposit: £600 / £700

About us:

Amy is from Ireland and Jack is from the area. We love to cook and are vegan/vegetarian, so we’re a veggie friendly home. During the week, we both either work from home or in London. We are both working in film and are big movie fans – we often spend our evenings watching a movie after work, and you’re welcome to hang out and join us if that’s your thing too. When we’re not working or watching movies, we like to keep fit and enjoy lots of running and walking, as well as socialising in the local area and in London, or by having friends over to the house. We have a big board game collection which we like to play together too, in the past we’ve enjoyed this as a house group.
