Live-in House Supervisor

We are a charity providing accommodation and support to 16-25 year old young people. We are looking for an employed, empathetic professional with experience working with young people, or with transferable experience in a support, care, education, health, youth work or similar role, to support a specialist charity that provides housing for young people leaving care.
This is a contracted live-in role. You will live on site with three young people and provide an overnight point of contact (11:00pm–7:00am) should an emergency or urgent situation arise. Where your attendance or intervention is required, you will be paid in accordance with the terms of the contract.
During the day, our young people are typically in education, employment or attending appointments with their support worker.
As a consistent and trusted adult in the home, you will build positive relationships with the resident young people. You will become a friendly, approachable presence and a 'go to' person for practical guidance, reassurance and everyday support when you are around.
You will receive a full DBS check, safeguarding training and ongoing support from the Support Manager and wider team.
The only contribution you make towards your accommodation is £65 per month, which covers all utilities and broadband.
You will have your own double bedroom with a private bathroom and share the communal living areas with the young people.
