House share in Thatcham

We have a double room for single use for a male, available to let in Thatcham, close to Vodafone bus route, for full time let at £595 per month plus £10 per week contribution to cleaning lady. Full time employed only. Available now
We are currently a household of 3 guys looking for another sharer to join the household. We are all laid back easy to get on with. Rob (live in landlord), and Gareth and Karl are the usual residents, and we need one more guy to join the household

Some of us are smokers but outside only or in the dedicated covered smoking area.

The house is a good size, situated in a quiet residential street with parking. It is well decorated and furnished. The house is geared towards 4 guys aged 30 plus house sharing.

The shared areas of the house are good size well equipped kitchen diner , sitting room, full sky or virgin tv package including sports and of course the bathroom upstairs and downstairs loo. Wifi internet connection is included. There is a large games room at the back of the house with pool table , dart board, sport tv and bar.

The room we have available is a double for single use, with built in wardrobe, bathroom shared.

There is a small rear garden with patio area. On and off road parking.

The rent is £595 per month plus £10 per week cleaning fee to be paid monthly in advance in cash, all other domestic bills included.

Thatcham is a sought after small town on the edge of Newbury with several good pubs, restaurants supermarkets and plenty of takeaway options. There is a railway station approx 15 minutes walk from the house for London, Reading and Newbury and good bus links into Newbury . We are a few minutes walk to the Vodafone bus route.

Our ideal room mate must be fully employed, have a good sense of humour and be of a sociable disposition. Ability to play poker, pool, darts and chess and enjoy a few beers an advantage.

There is a cleaning lady once per week to keep on top of the general cleaning ( each roommate contributes £10 per week) but roommates must be prepared to muck in and keep their own stuff tidy. There are strict rules in place about keeping kitchen tidy daily. If you cannot be generally tidy then this is not the house for you.

We have a house cat, so roommates must be able to tolerate cats. We are unable to have any further pets in the house.

The room is a single let only, no couples, no pets. References will be taken up. A deposit of £250 plus 1 months rent in advance is required on moving in.
