The house is neither posh, new, nor filled with gadgets. It is however warm, clean, quiet, safe, relaxed, and uber-conveniently located, offering:
I offer a sunny, generously sized, rear garden-facing double room with double bed, built in wardrobe. Other furnishings – can be changed according to preference.
Off-street parking
Shared use of: bathroom, downstairs toilet, kitchen, dining room.
Use of: all the usual kitchen amenities, including washing machine, dryer.

LOCATION
Easy access by rail or road to Maidenhead, Slough, London, Reading, Wokingham, Marlow, Henley, Bracknell etc.
Ten minutes walk to the station (Elizabeth Line and Great Western Railway). From where it is six minutes to Reading, fastest train to Paddington is 21 mins, to Liverpool Street is 57 mins.
Ten mins drive to the M4, junction 8/9 via A404 (which goes to High Wycombe and the M40). 15 mins drive to Central Reading (eg Royal Berkshire Hospital).
Five minutes walk to the village (including Waitrose, Tesco, multiple restaurants/takeaways, pubs, barbers, hairdressers, dentist, doctor, baker – sorry, no candlestick maker).
Live-in Landlady
Sharing with only me and two (sweet) cats (they have their own toilet 😉).
I do smoke, but strictly outside!
I am doing this for the income, but I also enjoy the “casual company”. I’m looking to share my home with a friendly “live-in” - rather than a friend, although my last lodger certainly left as a friend - after 17 years.

2) Mon – Fri @ £555 PCM.
