The flat is shared with two girls who are also BA crew. The cost of rent and bills is £773 per month including council tax, electric, wifi, water, tv license (paid quarterly).
The room has a built in double wardrobe with plenty of space for all your clothes, with extra storage under the stairs and in the lounge.
It’s a 17 minute drive to the BA Crew Car Park and only a 5 minute walk to Arthur Road bus stop which takes you into Heathrow Terminal 5 in around 35/45 minutes on the 703 bus (traffic dependent). Both of the girls commute using this bus route too as they don’t drive and have said it’s an easy commute. There is also the Go2Gate private bus service (exclusive for Heathrow workers) that’s a 10 min walk from the flat which takes you into T5 in 15 mins if buses aren’t running, costing just £2.00. If you have your own car like I do, there is a one-off fee of £50 per year for permit parking on the roads next to the flat.
There is a local Tesco, Waitrose and M&S just a 3 min walk away and an Aldi just 5 mins drive from the flat. There is also a gym called ‘snap fitness’ across the road. 🏋️♂️🏋️♀️
The room comes unfurnished, but is the perfect fresh start for anyone moving into the area/looking to relocate closer to Heathrow with everything on your doorstep.
