Built in 2017, our little annexe has a double bedroom, lounge, kitchen and shower room. It is attached to our main home but it is very private. All bills are included in the monthly rental (Council Tax, Gas, Electricity, Water, WiFi).
The annexe is furnished.. There is driveway parking, a large garden and we have a large garage so if you need to store items (e. g. bicycle) then that is possible.
Laundry facilities are in the main house. We have had four tenants since we started renting the annexe out and this arrangement works fine.
Whilst the main house is my main residence, I am away a lot overseas. My two sons are in their early 20s, one of them is at uni so he's only around in the holidays. My older son is working and he goes to the gym/plays rugby a lot.
We are located in central Wokingham so you can walk to the town centre but we are also conveniently located for access to the A329(M).
Our ideal tenant would be a professional person in stable employment who is friendly, happy to live on their own and prefers to live quietly I have a cockapoo who likes to come and visit our annexe tenant!! If you have a small dog then I am open to you being our tenant but of course we need to ensure the dogs get along.
