I'm looking for a second person for a cosy 2 bed flat in St. Andrews/Montpelier to move in for February 2024. The rent is £700 a month without bills. Bills come up to around £185 each in the winter, inclusive of council tax, energy, water and broadband. So around £885 in total. It's a lovely flat in a very quiet area with amazing views.
The flat is partly furnished with a sofabed & dining table, TV, washing machine and a fair amount of kitchen stuff. Bedroom furniture can be provided. The room is a good sized double bedroom as can be seen in the pictures.
The flat has a balcony with a lovely view of Bristol, a good sized bathroom, a perfectly sized living room for two ppl with a kitchen that's part of the living space. It's south facing so lots of gorgeous natural light, especially in spring/summer months. The flat is situated right where the top of St. Andrews Road & Cromwell Road meet....5/10 mins away from St. Andrews Park/Montpelier/St Werbs etc. The block of flats is really lovely & quiet and it almost feels tucked away from any noise or hustle & bustle. The flat is built to an excellent spec with no damp/mould, and the landlord is extremely prompt when it comes to addressing any small wear & tear issues.
You'll be living with myself, a 35 year old office worker who enjoys quiet evenings, cooking (lots of curry), unwinding to chill music & films. I enjoy photography, going to gigs, playing music, cycling and writing. I'm very clean, tidy and respectful of personal space & a shared living space. I'm easy-going, empathetic and up for sharing dinner/drinks, going for walks/cycles and gigs together. I'm looking for someone who wants a cute home, with vaguely similar interests, doesn't work from home for more than 2 days a week, has their own thing going going but up for hanging out together, appreciates a shared space and is kind + respectful.
The flat also includes secure off-street gated parking with a bike compound.
