Spare room in Ashley Down House

Hi! We’re looking for a flatmate to join us in our home in Ashley Down.

We’re 4 guys, Alex (me), Cam, Henry and Berto. Cam and I have lived here for a while, and Henry and Berto are moving in in February.

The house is a three story newbuild in a really nice neighbourhood near the cricket club in Ashley Down. Really close to the Lazy Dog pub (our local) and Ashley Down station. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Gloucester Rd. There’s a 70 Bus stop basically on the doorstep.

We have a nice garden, the living room is big but still cozy, with space for laundry drying and we have a sunny nook with a desk. The kitchen is on the small side, but is nice to hang out in whilst we eat and cook.

The available bedroom is on the ground floor. The downstairs loo is across the hall so it feels like an en suite at times.

Alex works for a local education charity, Cam works in a local pub, Henry works in customer service for an energy company and Berto is a chef. So a range of professions. We like eating together and watching movies, or we go to the pub.

It’s very much a home, and we’d like a housemate who wants to hang out. Is pretty clean, and will stick to our cleaning rota (you clean communal spaces once every 5 weeks). No students sorry. We are pretty chill in the week, and usually do something as a house on the weekends.

Rent is 600. Bills (incl. council tax, wifi and utilities) are around £100/month.

The rooms come furnished.
