This room is available from the 8th - 31st of July as our lodger is back in Bali then!
This is a large attic room with en suite.
This our family home. We are a married couple who both work for an engineering consultancy. We work from home the majority of the time. We have two sons aged 5 and 3. We also have two cats (which can obviously be shut out of the room)!
The room has a double bed, bedside tables and storage boxes underneath. There’s a huge built in wardrobe, a desk and chair and a large corner sofa. There’s a TV with an Amazon Fire Stick. From the room there’s great views across Bristol.
The en-suite has a toilet, basin and large rain style shower.
The house is on Shadwell Road, right off the amazing Gloucester Road. Where you’ll find buses straight into town or up to Southmead Hospital. The closest train stations are Redland and Montpelier, both only 13 minute walk away,
We have a lockable metal bike storage unit out the front that you can use if you have a bike / e scooter.
Parking is free on the surrounding roads.
We have a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board etc.
To note: The kitchen is very busy between 5.30 - 7.30pm, when the boys go to bed! You’re welcome to join in, but it won’t be a particularly calm or peaceful cooking experience during this time. One of our sons has a peanut allergy, so we have no peanuts in the house (‘May Contain Peanuts’ is fine).
