Double Room Available in Ashley Down

My name is Charlotte (26F) and myself and my partner Olga (31F) are looking to rent out a room in our flat in Ashley Down which is available from March. Anyone interested would need to be okay sharing their space with our two cats, Snufkin and Astrid.

The room is light with a large window and comes fully furnished with double bed, wardrobe, laundry basket, desk and chair etc. You will have use of the master bathroom, as we have our own ensuite. You’ll be sharing the communal space with us and have use of the washing machine in the utility cupboard. There is plenty of parking available nearby for those who drive and the building has a secure bike store on the ground floor.

The flat is in the perfect location - 12 mins walk from Gloucester Road with lots of shops/cafes and is also by the Concorde Way cycle route. There is an Aldi and a Lidl about a 5 minute walk away as well as a small Co-op up the road.

I work as a trainee solicitor and work 2-3 days a week from home. Olga works onsite. We would be looking to start with a 3 month contract and then continue with a rolling contract on a month by month basis.

We would prefer someone who doesn’t work from home every day, as my workplace has a strict confidentiality policy. We would also like someone who is clean and tidy and respectful of the house. We’re both very friendly and keen to make whoever moves in feel at home but also will be respectful of your space and privacy when you want to do your own thing.

Bills and cleaner are included.
