A huge room (5.5m by 4m) is available in this chilled shared house. It’s large, clean, light, and unfurnished (the bed frame in the photos has gone). Obviously, there is an ensuite bathroom as well. The house, in a prime location just off the Gloucester Rd near the supermarkets and bars, is currently shared with 4 other young professionals (1F, 3M) who all get along extremely well.

The non-smoking house comes with excellent facilities; washing machine, dishwasher and full gas central heating. There’s a pretty rear garden for summer BBQs and an area for bike storage. Full fire alarm throughout, HMO registered.

The house atmosphere is warm, friendly and pleasant so the right character is required to join the mix. Ideally, someone in their late 20’s, early 30’s with a responsible job will fit in well. It’s definitely not a wild party house as everyone is working but all the housemates are cool and very sociable. Everyone loves living here because it’s a home rather than just a house.

I've recently done a major refurbishment of the whole house and there's a new walk-in shower on the middle floor.

I’m the Landlord but not one of those nasty, horrible ones so there’s none of those outrageous fees that come with agencies. I really care about my tenants and have a great relationship with the current housemates. So, for instance, if the washing machine breaks down, the tenants text me and I get a replacement in the following day. The only thing I’m fussy about is keeping everything spic and span, well organised and making sure the recycling is conscientiously done every week.

The rent doesn’t include the bills but I think they come to around £80pcm. The property is council band D.
