Description
Looking for a full-time professional to fill soon-to-be available room in a top floor, 2 bed flat in quiet area of Bishopston. Council tax band B. Available on 2 January 2025. (No students, sorry!)
The room is a very good size, and has access to its own bathroom.
The living area is a decent-sized, open plan kitchen-diner. The flat is furnished with all the usual stuff already - sofa, table, chairs, tv, white goods (inc. dishwasher) etc., so you just need to worry about bringing furniture for your bedroom - but I can be flexible if you have anything you would like to bring to make it feel more like your space too. If preferred, the bed frame and ikea drawers on the floor can be left in the room for the new housemate.
£550pm + bills. At the moment, bills come to around £170 a month (Wifi, electricity, water, council tax etc.) ~£720pm total.
About me:
I'm Tom- I’m really into art and I spend a lot of time doing it. This year I’ve been doing a copper plate etching course every Tuesday evening. I work at a special needs school in Bristol, which I find very rewarding but also exhausting. I like stuff like games, making noise with my guitar when you’re not at home, cooking the odd tasty dinner and seeing friends down at the watering hole.
I’m 32 years old, fairly quiet but I like going to gigs and exhibitions / stuff like that.
What to expect from me as a housemate:
- I am very clean and tidy when it comes to mess, dishes, hoovering, wiping surfaces etc etc.
- I spend quite a lot of time at the flat, drawing and relaxing in my room.
- I’m good at sharing and I’ll respect your space when you want it.
About you:
I‘m looking for a full-time professional who works similar hours to me. It would be ideal if we got on and had similar interests, but all I really hope for is someone who is clean, tidy, and respectable when it comes to noise etc., like I will be - if we are on the same wavelength when it comes to these, I think it’ll be good. Everything else is a bonus.
To be eligible, you must earn at least 2.5x the yearly rent in salary (£16K+), and be able to provide references etc.
If you are interested, drop me a message about yourself and we can have a chat, or meet up to see if we'd be a good match. If so, I will pass your details onto the landlord to do the rest.
Viewings ASAP - would like it sorted by Christmas!
Look forward to hearing from you
