Do you commute to Bristol during the week for work? Currently shelling out for a hotel room every week? I have a large, bright double bedroom available for rent Monday to Friday in Bishopston that could be a great alternative. Part of a 2 bed garden flat on a quiet street, just a 2-minute walk to Gloucester Road. Buses run every 10 min into the city or out to cribbs causeway/Aztec West. Ashley Down station is a 10 minute walk where you can get direct trains to Temple Meads. Gloucester Road is full of amazing independent shops, cafes, and restaurants, plus has a great selection of bars.

The room is spacious (4m x 2m, 9ft x 14ft) and comes with a double bed, armchair, wardrobe, drawers and side table. The shared bathroom is just across the hall. The flat has a large kitchen opening onto a lovely garden, as well as an open plan dining room and TV snug. The garden has a patio with outdoor seating, perfect for relaxing at sunset. Free on-street parking is available.

I’m a friendly live-in landlord, I work from home doing health research. I am usually out a few nights a week playing netball, swimming, doing woodwork or at the cinema. Molly, my tortoise-shell cat, lives with me too and can mainly be found snoozing on her fav blanket on the sofa. She’s very welcoming in exchange for headstrokes.

Would suit someone needing to be in Bristol during the week heading home at weekends. My last lodger had some short-term contract work in the city that will be finishing at Christmas. The room would be perfect for anyone needing a weekday home from home in Bristol. Short or longer term lets considered.
