I have a large, bright double bedroom available for rent Monday to Friday in Bishopston. It's just a 2-minute walk to Gloucester Road one way and the cricket ground the other. It’s a quiet street with excellent access to facilities on Gloucester Road Central, including bus routes into the city or out to cribbs causeway/Aztec West.

The house has a large kitchen opening onto a lovely garden, as well as an open plan dining room and TV snug. It’s a 2-minute walk to Fed café on Gloucester Road as well as local bakery, fruit and veg shops, and supermarkets. The garden has a patio with outdoor seating, perfect for relaxing at sunset. Free on-street parking is available.

Gloucester Road is full of amazing independent shops, cafes, and restaurants, plus has a great selection of bars. Southmead hospital is a 20 min walk. Bristol city centre is a short bus ride away, and there are plenty of Tier scooters nearby for easy travel. Going the other way, there are buses to Filton and UWE amongst other destinations. Ashley Down Station is a 10 min walk.

The room is spacious (4m x 2m, 9ft x 14ft) and comes with a double bed, armchair, wardrobe and side table. I can add a desk if needed. The shared bathroom is just across the hall.

A little about me – I’m a friendly live-in landlord, I work from home doing health research. I am usually out a few nights a week playing netball, swimming, doing woodwork or at the cinema. Molly, my tortoise-shell cat, lives with me too and can mainly be found snoozing on her fav blanket on the sofa. She’s very welcoming in exchange for headstrokes.
