Description
Hello, my name is Matty, I'm a single professional and from Feb I've a room in my lovely ground floor flat going.
The flat itself is really nice. Hence why I'm looking for a flatmate rather than moving. It's very clean, one of those flats where everything works, new oven, dishwasher, new fridge etc. I'm a clean person so it's always tidy and well-kept! It's in a really quiet area, just off Gloucester road and is about a 4 minutes walk from the Grace, or any amenities. I work a good amount, a restaurant called Caper & Cure, and I'm out a lot of time. But I can definitely be as present, or as spacious as you'd need. Definitely love space myself but also so happy to be completely social. Whatever your preference is as a human that'll be respected indefinitely. I'm left/green, and all are welcome in my eyes in life in gender, sexuality, race or absolutely anything else. That's super important to me.
It's gas central heating, really nice heat distribution. Gas hobs and electric oven. Bathroom is fine, nothing to sing about but it works and the shower is electric with a nice sized bath!
The flat gets sunlight all day, it's very bright and airy so it's lovely in the sunshine. The garden is a good size, and we've a pizza oven and a BBQ for summer time yeeee.
Fred, the landlord, lives besides and above in two flats. He's lush. Young, non invasive, very pleasant and fixes anything that ever breaks. Which is a rarity!
Parking in Bishopston is free, so there's no permits to buy and always lots of spaces which is fantastic.
I'd consider myself a respectable, clean and comfortable housemate to have. I've no personal attachment to fittings, decor, or anything like that so I'd be so happy to share any of that with whoever liked the place! I cook a lot, live a pretty gentle life but also love socialising and being out and about, whether thats to the pub or in the wild.
I would be looking for somebody with a slightly quieter way of life, and not necessarily out all the time, up late constantly and loud. These are all lush things but where I am right now, it's a lot calmer!
The room is a single room, its spacious for a single, and you could definitely fit a double bed in there if needed. It's been a spare room for a while so not really used!
It'll sit a portion cheaper than my bedroom, as it's a bit bigger so the room itself is £525
Bills (halved) are:
Council tax: £83.50
Energy (gas and electric): £65.70
Water: £24
TV license: £7.47
Internet: £19.58
So that takes the final bill to approx: £717.58
Ideally whoever rents, will stay a while but happy to take somebody for a few months depending!
Feel free to drop a message on here for more photographs, videos or any questions!
