Homeshare West is looking for a reliable, interesting, well educated and community minded woman to support a householder who would welcome some company and practical help. You need to be a good cook, willing to prepare and share a meal a few times each week and to carry out light housework when needed.

The householder, a former teacher, is a well presented, sociable woman who enjoys interacting with others and was very engaged in voluntary work. She has a lovely garden for you to potter in if that is of interest. She does have short term memory loss, but copes well, having good support from her family.

Homesharing is a low cost accommodation arrangement. You give ten hours of your time each week helping an older person with practical tasks, and providing companionship & overnight security. In return you get a large pleasant room in a safe environment with very low outgoings.

Homesharing is a lifestyle choice, not for everyone, more suited to mature, reliable people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your normal day to spend some of your evenings and weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you. To be considered, you must be employed, and have the Right to Reside in the UK.
Understandably, we have a thorough interview process and will need good references and a DBS check before we can introduce you to the householder.
