Single room in Brislington

I have a single bedroom available for rent in my house. Located in a quiet cul de sac, the house is in a residential neighbourhood, with a Coop nearby, a number 1 bus stop 200 yards away, and a beautiful nature reserve (Eastwood Farm, Beeses' riverside bar and ferry to Conham River Park) 5 minutes' walk away. On the outskirts of the city, yet well-connected to it, Temple Meads is 15 mins away by bus or bike, and the Bath Road and the ring road close by.

The room is a single bedroom (2m50 x 2m70 = 6.8m2), bright and warm (south facing), with wooden floor boards. The room is furnished with a single bed, a lamp and 2 small chest of drawers. £510 a month, plus one month's deposit, all bills included (council tax, energy, water, fortnightly professional clean and 500Mb Wifi, no tv licence).

The kitchen, large living room, bathroom and garden are shared with the other lodgers. The living room is spacious, the fully equipped kitchen and connecting garden south facing and bright. There is parking space on the driveway, and locked bike storage in the garden (but no general storage space).

Although I own the house, I will be staying in Devon with my boyfriend and only coming back a few days a month. You will be living with me and my lodgers, (South African, Trinidadian and English) who’ve been living here for 8 years, 2 years and 1 year respectively. The current lodgers are primarily focused on their work, mostly keep to themselves and have different schedules and routines.

We are looking for someone who is house trained and after a quiet and harmonious space to unwind after work or postgrad studies. The room is initially only available until September 2026, with the potential to be rented out longer depending on a few aspects out of my control and knowledge at this stage.
