Hi there!
I’m looking for someone to move into the second double bedroom in my house in Brislington after my current housemate has sadly decided to move in with his girlfriend.
There is an upstairs bathroom, downstairs toilet, lounge and large kitchen/dining/living area. It's a really great space, and a lot of house for 2 people to share, so we really wont feel like we are living on top of each other. There is lots of cupboard space in the kitchen for you to store food etc. The room is part furnished with a bed and two built in cupboards. It's nice and cosy for winter with brand new double glazed windows, 3 (yes 3) radiators!) and a fully insulated loft.
There is a good sized garden where I grow herbs, veg and raspberries. You are welcome to grow some things as well if you wish! There's also a rear garage for storage. Plenty of room for a bicycle etc.
The number 1 bus has a regular stop about a 1 minute walk from the front door which takes about 15-25 minutes to the centre, depending on the time of day/traffic.
Sandy Park road is a 10-15 minute walk (albeit up a steep hill!) away which has a really nice deli and a bunch of other shops and cafes. There's also a co-op a 5 min walk away for necessities.
You will be sharing the house with just me. I'm 36 and work for a software company mostly from home. I am pretty active and enjoy mountain biking, gym, swimming, yoga but also like chilling and being lazy with a movie or a video game. I love cooking and baking and like sharing food so welcome those who do too and like sharing every now and then.
I've been sharing houses for quite a long time now and enjoy being friends with the person I live with. I'm not super into partying anymore but enjoy the odd night out. I have a really simple weekly cleaning rota to help us keep the place in check but am also open to getting a cleaner if someone would prefer that.
