Double room in Brislington

Hi there!

I’m looking for someone to take the second double bedroom in my house in Brislington.

I’m hoping to live with someone friendly, clean and respectful who is up for enjoying the lovely space with me, and making themselves at home.

There is an upstairs bathroom , downstairs toilet, lounge and large kitchen/dining/living area. It's a really great space, and a whole lot of house for 2 people to share, so we really wont feel like we are living on top of each other. There is loads of cupboard space in the kitchen for you to store food etc.

There is a good sized garden where I grow herbs, veg and raspberries. You are welcome to grow some things as well if you wish! There's also a rear garage for storage. Plenty of room for a bicycle etc.

The room itself is bright and quiet as it faces the garden not the road.

The number 1 bus has a regular stop about a 1 minute walk from the front door which takes about 15-25 minutes to the centre, depending on the time of day/traffic. Sandy Park road is a 10-15 minute walk away which has a really nice deli and a bunch of other shops and cafes. There's also a co-op a 5 min walk away for emergencies.

A little about me: I'm 35 and work for a software company in a sales role. Outside of work I am a pretty active person and try to spend a lot of my free time mountain biking & hiking, doing yoga and at the gym. I have family in Devon and visit occasionally so there will be times where you'll have the place to yourself. I love cooking and enjoy sharing meals every now and then (no pressure!).

I'm markedly more chilled out on the partying front these days, but do enjoy the odd beer and hanging out, it's a really good house for entertaining and I like pulling the bbq out the garage when the sun's out!

The room is available from Oct 1 and has a bed and mattress already.

I’m away currently so for the interim my Mum will visit to help take care of the house, she will meet you and show you around the house.

I might consider couples - if so the rent would be £1,400 pcm.
