Double room in Brislington

Hi there,

I’m looking for someone to rent the second double bedroom in my house as my current housemate is moving to London for work.

There is an upstairs bathroom, downstairs toilet, lounge and large bright kitchen/dining/living area. It's a really great space, and a lot of house for 2 people to share. The room available is the largest in the house and has two large built in wardrobes.

There is a good sized garden with a small lawn and a seating area which gets the morning sun. I also grow herbs and raspberries.

The number 1 bus has a regular stop about a 1 minute walk from the front door which takes about 15-25 minutes to the centre, depending on the time of day/traffic.

Sandy Park road is a 10-15 minute walk away which has a really nice deli and a bunch of other shops and cafes. There's also a co-op a 5 min walk away for necessities.

A little about myself - I am 37 and work in commercial sales roles, most recently in software. I enjoy keeping healthy and active and have lots of hobbies including cycling/mountain biking, yoga, padel, cricket, hiking and so on! I’m also a keen cook and bake my own bread. I enjoy live music and going to gigs in the city though in general I am pretty tame on the partying front these days.

If you are a fan of green space you’ll be happy: Nightingale Valley, St Anne’s woods, Victory park and the river Avon/Beeses are all within 5-15 mins walk.

I keep the house clean and tidy ans you can hopefully see from the pictures, and am looking for someone who will do the same. This is really important to me, so if you know you can be messy and don’t wash up after yourself please let’s not waste each others time 😅
