Double room in Brislington

Hello, we’re looking for a new housemate to join us in our lovely home in Brislington.

THE HOUSEMATES
You'll mainly be sharing the house with Shelly and Sarah and I’m usually back in Bristol once a week for a night when I’m in the office. We’re in our mid to late 30’s, and between us we enjoy travel, walking, cycling, nature, swimming, yoga, photography, art, going to music gigs and festivals etc. We’re all sociable and enjoy living with people who we can have a chat with etc but also enjoy doing our own thing and are respectful of people’s space.

THE ROOM
The room is a bright double and is at the back of the house over looking the garden. It’s furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, small built in wardrobe and there’s room for a small desk etc. The room is £675 per month and includes all utility bills, inc. internet, TV licence.

THE HOUSE/AREA
The house is on a lovely street in Brislington with Arnos Vale park at the end of the road – which is really nice for walks/summer picnics. There are loads of green spaces within walking distance; Perrets Park, Nightingale Valley, Redcatch community garden etc are all within walking distance.

There’s a shared lounge at the front of the house, which is a really peaceful space over looking the front garden and a shared kitchen at the back. The garden is quite big and is full of lovely plants and is a bit of a wildlife haven. It’s a lovely place to relax in the spring/summer. There’s also a secure garage with space for bikes etc and on street parking.

It’s a really friendly neighbourhood and the house is within walking distance of supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Lidl) and there are independent greengrocers, eco-friendly refills, bars/cafes and shops nearby on Sandy Park road and in Totterdown. There’s also a community run gym/swimming pool about 10 minutes’ walk away.

The house also has good transport links and is close to town and Bristol Temple Meads train station.

We’re looking to find someone with experience of living in a shared household and is clean, tidy and relaxed. The room is available anytime from now and if you’re interested, please send me a message about yourself, and we can arrange a viewing. (Updated photos of the room to follow)
