Double room in chill house

Hello 🤙🤙

My girlfriend Kay and I, our small sausage dog Wilbur, and Jago are looking for a fourth housemate to join us as we're very sadly saying goodbye to Connie who's been lodging with us since summer to go travelling!

We have a 3 bed semi with double parking drive, garage and lovely back garden. We have a large living area with open plan kitchen/dining and living room and big conservatory. (Currently finishing off some work in the living room as you can see in pics-soon to be finished).

The room is very spacious and has a lovely view of the sun set. We're very happy for you to make it your own and put stuff on the walls, we can buy shelves or things like that if you wanted to add anything.

Currently looking for a gal or fem energy to keep things balanced 🙂

I WFH 3 days of the week and work in office the other 2. Kay is working shifts and doesn't WFH so she has certain days off in the week/works certain weekends etc. Jago usually works in office Mon-Friday. It would probably work best if you were on a similar schedule as we're all up relatively early in the weekdays.

Kay is into reading, arts and craftsy stuff, baking and generally chilling

I'm into the above but also into plants at the moment (indoors and outdoors) and have recently taken on a massive allotment you'd be welcome to have access to to grow some veges if you like! I also enjoy cycling, bouldering, playing and listening to music and gigging etc etc

Jago is a pretty relaxed guy. He's often out of the house socialising with his mates, be it going to the films, local theatre or just hitting up the pub. He enjoys reading, and the occasional bit of fitness (occasional being the optimal word). When he can he goes to visit mates in London, or back down to Devon to see his family.

We like a good dinner, pub quiz or dip in the hot tub with friends (that you would ofc be welcome to use whenever you like), we're over the partying although Kay likes the occasional smoke to unwind (only occasional if that worries you). We don't mind party people as long as it stays out the house - it won't work if your'e coming in super late all the time. We love getting out in nature when we can, we used to live in a van and travelling on the road is our happy place, though we don't get to do it much :(

You'd be a good fit if you want a relaxed house where there's no pressure to socialise, but it is very much welcomed when it happens.. Kay is more introverted and I'm a bit more of a people person. Our last flat share we spent lots of evenings dancing and playing on the switch, or eating and watching movies together in between leading our own lives.

The house is located in a quiet spot next to a nature reserve but also only 5 mins walk from the main bus routes so you can be in town in 25 mins or so in rush hour, super quick out of rush hour and even quicker if you drive

We're both vegan and would prefer a vegan to take the room or at least a vege. If you aren't, please let us know if you message, that youre happy not to be eating meat/fish in the house.

Price includes all bills and access (if you wanted it) to the allotment
