I'm Kat, 48, a live-in landlord, gardener and florist. I'm into photography, art, the environment, exercise and generally trying to do some good in the world.

I'm friendly and approachable, but I'm also in the middle of a busy chapter of life, so I'm looking for someone who's similarly happy with their own interests and routines 🙂

I'm planning to sell the house next year, so it would suit someone looking for a medium-term home.

The room: A small furnished double with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers in a quiet cul-de-sac. There's space outside for a bike, loft storage for bulky suitcases etc., and rent includes all bills.

The house: It's a friendly, peaceful home – definitely the opposite of a party house. We both tend to have our own lives and generally go out to socialise, but it's lovely to have the occasional chat over a cup of tea or cook together from time to time.

Location: Bishopsworth (BS13), opposite the library and a 3-minute walk from local shops. Around 25 minutes by bike to the city centre, 5–10 minutes to Southville and 15 minutes' drive to the airport. There's a direct bus into Bristol city centre at the end of the road, the airport bus is a short walk away, and e-scooter parking a couple of minutes away. About you: I'm looking for someone friendly, considerate and fairly independent who enjoys having a peaceful home to come back to. It would suit someone who has their own interests and is looking for a calm, easy-going place to live. It could be a great fit for a student, someone on a work placement, or anyone looking for a comfortable medium-term home.
