Short let, large double room in Edwardian house

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a lodger for an extremely spacious double room overlooking the garden in my beautiful Edwardian house on Wells Road.

The house
The house is light and airy with a south facing garden, which you are welcome to make use of! It has a large shared shower room downstairs (the small bathroom upstairs is private), sunny kitchen, utility, large living space and a separate dining room/games room.

Travel
There is a bus stop 1 minute away with regular buses to the centre (15-20 mins), Temple Meads Station (5 mins), and Clifton (30 mins), Stokes Croft (27 mins). It's easy to walk to Wapping Wharf or the city centre (30-40 mins each) and has three beautiful parks nearby, along with several bars, restaurants and small shops on Wells Road.

What I'm looking for
I'm currently studying a diploma for a career change into the health and wellness industry, so I'm at home a fair amount of the time. I'm pretty tidy and enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment, so I'm looking for someone who would like something similar. I love sharing the odd meal or glass of wine, watching a film together or popping to the local, but also appreciate the need for space and downtime. I love yoga, good food, reading, travelling, and I'm currently working on writing a novel!

The room
The room has a king size bed, a wardrobe and large chest of drawers and two bedside tables. It's available from 11th August 2025 for a short term let with a maximum of 5 months (Sorry, no couples or pets). I'd also consider a Mon-Fri arrangement.

The bills
£980 per month covers all bills, including internet access and TV license, energy, water, and council tax.

I'm looking for a short term let as I'm considering moving in the next year. There's possibility to extend this if it's working well, depending upon the situation.
