Bright & airy double room in St George / Redfield

My housemate is moving out so I'm seeking a new one. Maybe it's you?

The house is a lovely 2-bed Victorian end-of-terrace, right by Church Road and in between the green spaces of St George's park and Avonview Cemetery.

It's very spacious for two people and I've done a lot to make this a proper home so am sure you'd be very comfortable here.

The front room is cosy, with a massive new sofa, all the TV you could ever need and a log-burner for the winter months. The separate dining room is bright so is a very comfortable space to relax, eat, work or whatever. The kitchen is cute and has everything you need, leading out to the garden that gets sun through most of the day.

Your double room is big, bright and airy, very tranquil and will be fully furnished if required. Currently it comfortably holds a double bed, desk, clothes rail and shelves. Nice view over the garden towards the park.

I'm a born-and-bred Bristolian, recently back home after the obligatory stretch in London to settle into the years approaching the dreaded middle age. A typical week for me consists of bouncing between home and the office trying to grow a scale-up, playing football / going to the gym or similar, walks, cooking, trying to navigate Hinge, a few pints maybe and some quality time with my nephews.

My ideal scenario is a fun but chilled person to move in and be a big part of the place (no 'hiding in room' types). Hopefully you know the drill for how to be a good housemate - clean and tidy, respectful of noise / guests, potentially up for sharing the cooking, and watching half-decent TV (plus a bit of the shit stuff), maybe even the odd pub visit or whatever.

Would consider short or long-term.

For longer term, I may be keen to meet you a couple of times before making a final call as it'll just be the two of us.
