Double room in shared flat with live-in Landlady

Hi!

I’m looking for a friendly, respectful housemate for the spare room in my cosy, 2-bedroom flat.

I’m a social person, so this place would suit someone who enjoys a chat, watching TV (I LOVE a bingeable series), and maybe grabbing a drink now and then. That said, I’m also very respectful of personal space and value a chilled, relaxed home environment.

I’m in the process of fully furnishing the flat and will update the ad with photos of the lounge once the new sofa arrives!

My partner and his dog visit regularly, sometimes for up to two weeks, since they live in Stoke. Once a month (sometimes more) I spend a long weekend at his place, so you’ll have the flat to yourself then. His dog, Mr. Tuck (you can see him in the photo), is a gentle, lovable Bulldog who may try to follow you around, so it’s important that you’re comfortable with dogs.

I work from home and am often in meetings, so ideally, I’m looking for someone who works outside of the home during typical hours (9-5) Mon-Fri.

The room has a small built-in wardrobe, and I’ve included a floorplan in the ad for reference.

The flat is in a great location—St George’s Park is just a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a Tesco Extra right across the road.
