Description

Hi, I’m Andreas. @andreaskkolos

I'm a 31 year old young professional, local to Bristol. I bought my house last year and have spend the past 10 months fully renovating it and am now looking for one or two housemates to move into 2 separate rooms.
I had a housemate in my old place and we became very close friends, so I’d really like a similar dynamic with new housemates.

This is my home so I’m looking for someone who’s respectful, tidy and clean, who truly values the space - as mentioned the house has also had a full renovation from head to toe and I’ve put a lot of my own time into it.
I’ve done my fair share of messy shared houses/uni accommodation etc, so I’m looking for someone who will appreciate a nice tidy house.

I'm pretty outgoing and easy to get along with. I love socialising, whether that’s hanging out with friends, going to the pub or out for dinner, or enjoying gigs/festivals, but I equally like having chilled ones. I'm pretty well travelled and love any excuse for a good trip away.

It would be great to find someone who’s like-minded and enjoys similar things to me, as I’m hoping to become friends and not just housemates, but I also respect that we need time to ourselves/our own space too.

My job takes me out of the house most weekdays and the odd weekend, so I’d prefer someone with a similar type of non-WFH schedule, but it's not essential and a mixture of both is fine. I also go to the gym most evenings straight from work.

The upstairs room is a very good sized double, and comes furnished with the basics. A double bed and mattress, large built in wardrobe and small bedside drawer. There is room for a desk and chest of drawers etc.
I will also be using the downstairs front room as another bedroom, which is also a great size. It’s currently unfurnished but can be furnished easily.

The living area is a good sized open-plan Kitchen-diner, with a utility/cloak room at the back. There’s also a decent sized south facing garden too, which is great in the summer - this is currently being landscaped and will be finished mid June. The bathroom is shared and upstairs, which is a bonus for a Victorian property. Complete with walk-in shower.

All bills, council tax and high-speed internet are included in the price. I’m also thinking of getting a monthly cleaner and the cost will be covered by me.

The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Church Road in Redfield. There is street parking with no permit needed, it’s quite busy but there’s always spaces on roads nearby. There are some great shops, restaurants and cafe’s etc nearby, as well as an Aldi, Tesco and Lidl.
St George park is super close by and is a really great space to hang out. There are also super regular busses that run into the city centre and Lawrence Hill Train station which has great links to Temple Meads, Filton, Aztec west, Montpellier, Clifton etc. Walking to Cabot Circus also only takes 25/30 minutes.

If you feel like you'd be a good match, drop me a message!
